- To access timecards, click on the icon in the left navigation, then select the Time Log Power Grid option from the menu.
- The Time Log Power Grid opens, displaying the following options:
a. Filter Panel: This panel displays all filter criteria applied to the data in the Time Log Power Grid. Clicking on this panel will open the Filter Time Entries dialogue. b. Filter: Click on the Filter icon to go directly to the Filter Time Entries dialogue. Use the dropdown menus found here to choose the data that displays in the Time Log Power Grid, then click Apply to save or Cancel to exit the Filter dialogue. Reset will remove all filters placed on the dataset with a single click. c. Group: Click to open the dropdown menu and change the way that entries in the Time Log are organized. The example above is grouped by user. d. Column Display Settings: Click to open the dropdown menu and choose which column headers are displayed. Once added to the Power Grid they can be resized or dragged and dropped to change their display order. The option will return the column headers to their original state

e. More Options: Click to open this dropdown menu, accessing the following options:
*Reset Columns: Returns column widths to their original settings.
*Export: Downloads an .xls export of the data in the Power Grid.
*Print: Prints the data in the Power Grid to a .PDF format.f. Grouped Records: When a grouping is applied to data, all numerical fields will automatically sum at the group level. In this example we can see that Bill Weller had a total of 36.833 hours logged. g. Time Log Entry Icons:
Manual Time Entry: This time entry was added by typing the details of the project, task, hours worked, etc. into Construction. It is not associated with a clock in and clock out. See Adding a Manual Time Entry to learn more. Standard Time Entry: This time entry was created by clocking in and clocking out of Smart Construction. h. Time Allocation: Clicking on the allocation icon will open the Time Allocation dialogue. Users with authorization can reallocate hours to other wage types when needed. By default, hours will be entered into the "Regular" wage type, and then any wage type rules added via the Enterprise Settings dialogue will be applied. i. Billable: The check box in this column associates the billing details for the user and project with a Time Log entry. j. Add a Time Entry: Click this "+" button to add a manual time entry to the Time Log. Learn more about adding manual time entries in the Adding a Manual Time Entry article.. k. OK / Save: The Time Log Power Grid works in the same manner of other Power Grids in Office, and data can be edited in the same way it is in a spreadsheet (with the exception of time associated with standard time entries). For any changes made in the Power Grid to be saved, click OK.
