Detailed Payroll Report- Custom Options
The Detailed Payroll Report has changed to accommodate the ability for custom column export options. The following changes have occurred:
Advanced Export Formatting- The only remaining option for these fields is Duration. The other options for Employee Name, Cost Code, and Billing Codes are now encompassed in the column selection options.
Column Configuration- A new modal is available to configure the column selections, column names, and column ordering
Listings of the columns selected, order, and names are available within the report generation modal
Detailed Payroll Report- Column Configuration
When Column Configuration is selected the following options are available within the modal:
Column Selection- The columns are pre-populated with the default selections available in the report today. The columns in the top portion are those that are selected to be included. The column options in the lower section are those that are remaining as an option to be selected.
Three new fields are now available on this report for Total Break Time, Jobsite State, and Jobsite City as requested
Edit Column Name- Users can select edit on the column name and adjust as needed. The column will then show the custom name and in parentheses will be the original column name
Column Re-order- Columns can be drag/dropped to the appropriate position that users want to be exported
-
Reset Columns to Default- This will reset the column selection, name, and order back to the defaulted report
Additional Details for renaming columns
After a custom name is set, in order to reset back to the defaulted name, users can blank out the column name which will revert to the original.
-
After names have been altered, when saving the column configurations, on the main screen the columns then will also display as the Custom Name (original name)
-
In order to support additional column selections and potential longer column naming, the report has to be changed from a Get to a Post. What this means is the report will be built in memory until completed, and then will be available within the users download folder. Once “Generate Report” is selected, a success message will appear letting the user know the report is generating and will be available once complete.
-
Once the report has been generated, the Excel CSV file will be extracted with the associated selections. Users will see the columns being displayed in the same manner they have configured
CSV Report Fix for Quotes in details
Fixed the reported issue for CSV reports being displayed incorrectly when double quotes were included in the report details (Project Name, Task Name, Equipment Name, etc). CSV was repositioning columns when double quotes were present, change was made to all CSV reports where impacted:
