Office's Project Portfolio Dashboard view is highly customizable and allows the most critical data about all of the projects in the portfolio to be viewed at a glance. Below is the standard dashboard layout with key features highlighted. All data associated with projects--status, financials, time entries, etc. can be visualized in this dashboard.
a. | Dashboard Layout Toggle: Layouts are a way of organizing and grouping dashboard panels based on topic or business need. Use these arrows to toggle between these "pages" of the dashboard. |
b. | Dashboard Edit: Click this edit icon to change which dashboard panels are displayed, add new panels, edit panels, change how data about projects is visually communicated, and add new dashboard layouts. |
c. | Dashboard Panel Title: This text details what can be found in each panel of the dashboard. Text can be edited via the Dashboard Edit dialogue. |
d. | Project Counter: This number indicates the number of projects listed in this panel. In this example, there are 25 projects included in this panel. |
e. | Panel Columns:In panels with data displayed in a list format users can drag and drop columns to change their display order, click on the column headers to modify sort order, and pull the edges of column headers to increase/decrease column width. |
f. | Visualization Toggle: Click on this icon to change the format in which the data in this panel is displayed. In this example, the display would shift from a chart to a list. |
g. | Dashboard Panel Maximizer: Toggle this arrow icon to maximize a dashboard panel, increasing its size to fill the dashboard area. Click again to return it to its original size. |
h. | More Data Available: The (...more) link appears when there is more data available than can be displayed within the current panel size. Clicking on this link expands the panel. |
